Order Policy & Cake Care Instructions
Local Pick Up:
All Whippt Kitchen CAKE & DESSERT orders are for pick up at the Britannia Plaza location at 812A 49 Ave SW during the following hours:

TUESDAY - SATURDAY: 11am - 5pm
All Whippt Kitchen OFFICE CATERING orders are for pick up at the Foothills location at #4, 5329 72 Ave SE during the following hours:
- MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8am - 4pm
All orders must be picked up on/within the date and timeframe selected when placing your order. If, for some reason, you are unable to pick up your order on your chosen pick up date, please contact us in advance to discuss options at info@whippt.ca, or call 587 471-1032 or 403 222-0466. Orders not picked up on their pick up date are not eligible for a refund and a new order will need to be placed for a new pick up date.
Delivery Service - Drop off delivery is only available for Office Catering Orders from Foothills. We do not offer delivery on cake/desserts and other online shop items at this time.
Order Confirmation - A separate email notification will be provided after your shopping cart order is completed, confirming the pick up date, location and time frame.
Cake Care Instructions - Our cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature. If you are serving the cake on the same day that you pick it up, you can choose to refrigerate it or keep it out of direct sunlight and in a comfortable, cool to room temperature area. If you choose to refrigerate the cake, please remove it from the fridge at least one hour prior to enjoyment in order to ensure the cake is soft, moist and the buttercream is flavourful and creamy.
Cancellation and Date Change Policy - To request a cancellation, date change, or modification to your order, please note the following:

Notice Requirement:
- All requests must be received at least five (5) business days before your scheduled pickup date.
- Requests received with less than the required notice will not be accommodated.

Fees and Refunds:
- A $15.00 fee will apply to all cancellations.
- Additional fees may apply for date changes and/or order modifications.
- Cancellation refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Whippt Kitchen and are only eligible if the required five (5) business days' notice is provided.

Colour(s) & Creative License - Whippt Kitchen bakers, cooks, designers and decorators will follow customer provided recommendations and specifications to the best of their ability. However, creative license is often needed to ensure that every product that leaves our shop reflects to our highest of standards. Actual colour(s), such as buttercream colours that are chosen online from a digital swatch board, may vary. Every item that leaves our shop is handmade and therefore we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in regards to colour matching, proportions or interpretation.
Allergies - We openly handle several allergens throughout our shop and in our kitchens. While we are able to accommodate custom Gluten free and Nut free requests, additional fees will apply as we bake/prepare these orders alone and in a freshly sanitized kitchen environment. While every effort is made to avoid cross contamination, we are not a flour or nut free kitchen and therefore cannot guarantee. If the allergy/sensitivity is severe, we recommend you seek out a 100% flour free or nut free kitchen for your baking/cooking needs.
